About College

Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College (MRMC), located in Kalaburagi (formerly Gulbarga), is one of North Karnataka’s well-known private medical colleges. Established in 1963 by the Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society, the institution was created to strengthen healthcare and medical education across the Hyderabad-Karnataka region.

Affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and approved by the National Medical Commission, MRMC blends classroom learning with extensive hospital exposure. Over the decades, it has built a reputation for producing competent doctors through strong academics, community service and hands-on clinical training. It is one of the designated regional centres under the NMC across India.

It is associated with two teaching hospitals, and together, they provide more than 1,000 beds and see thousands of patients daily, giving students real-world exposure across more than 20 clinical and para-clinical departments.

Admission Process  2026, MRMC Gulbarga

  • Qualify NEET-UG 2026.
  • Register online through the website of Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for Karnataka counseling.
  • Fill choices and include MRMC in your preference list.
  • Participate in Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up, or Stray Vacancy rounds (as applicable).
  • When the seat is allotted, the fees are to be paid (by DD or online),and the allotment letter is to be downloaded.
