What is the best time to Start your NExT Preparation?
While you are starting your Med School you have to learn the next 6 Years' Pre, Para and Clinical subjects progressively. Are FMGE and NExT is Same ?
As per the NMC draft published on 28th Dec 2022 for NExT Exams guideline, NExT will be conducted in two steps, Step-1 will be MCQ and Computer Based Test (CBT) after. The test will comprise 6 papers, a candidate has to score 50% on each paper. Step 2 will be pass/ Fail. NExT will be a clinical, Patient simulation-based Exam whereas FMGE is a theory-based Exam.
NExT is similar to USMLE?
USMLE is the most popular in the world for their way f assessment of a candidate for the Medical PG Program (Residency). Post CBME (Competency Based Medical Education) implementation in Indian Medical College, new guidelines of NExT Exam is too similar to USMLE like, two levels of assessment USMLE Step-1, 2CK, focus on clinical and patient cases.
