Why choose Nepal for MBBS studies?

Certainly, there are many advantages of doing the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Nepal for Indian students compared to any other destination.

  1. Similar Education Pattern : The education pattern in Nepal for MBBS is similar to the Indian MBBS course. Likewise, 19 subjects in Pre, Para, and Clinical studies are being instructed in Nepal, corresponding to India. The duration of MBBS in Nepal is 5 and a half years.
  2. High FMGE passing ratio: There is an abundance of MCI-approved medical colleges in Nepal . The FMGE passing rate for Nepali medical colleges is among the highest compared to other countries.
  3. Indian Faculties : Almost all the medical colleges in Nepal have Indian faculty, which greatly comforts Indian students during their studies.
  4. Affordability : Although the tuition fees in Nepal's medical colleges are on par with those in Indian private medical colleges. Still, it is a better choice to study MBBS in Nepal than at a private medical college that recently opened up in India at a similar cost.
  5. Language : You will find it very easy to communicate with Nepal as the natives of Nepal mostly understand Hindi, unlike Russia, China, Georgia, etc., where they speak their native language and the English-speaking population is negligible.
  6. Availability of Indian Food : The food in Nepal is quite similar to Indian cuisine, so students can hardly detect the change of land when it comes to food.
  7. Connectivity : Nepal is well connected with India by air and road. You don't require a visa to travel to Nepal. The travel cost in Nepal is the same as traveling within India.
  8. Weather : Though Nepal is geographically placed underneath the Himalayan region, the weather in Nepal is relatively moderate. The minimum temperature in Kathmandu ranges from 3–4 °C in winter to 20°C in summer.
