There are more than 75 cities in Germany and all of them have at least one university. Each of its cities provide with fascinating time for studying, be it a large city, a bustling city or one of its finest and calm town.

German cities offer aesthetic, beautiful and distinct sceneries. Many of the ancient wood castles are located in the central parts of Germany.The Alps with their splendid lakes rise over the lowlands in the South. This is where The Zugspitze, Germany’s highest pinnacle, rises at almost 3,000 meters above sea level.

Germany has a population of more than 100,000 inhabitants. Berlin, Hamburg and Munich are three big cities of Germany with population of 3.3 billion, 1.7 billion and 1.3 billion respectively.

Plenty of cultural opportunities are offered by both small towns and big cities. The event calendars are full of shows, carnivals, displays, concerts, festivals, performances, trade fairs and sporting events.

Since 1960s, Germany is well known as the land of immigration. Currently, 6.9 million immigrants are residing in Germany which accounts for 8.5% of the country’s total population.
