About University
The University of Zagreb was established in the year 1669. It is the oldest and largest university in South-Eastern Europe. It has 29 faculties and a team of well-experienced professors. The University Centre for Croatian Studies is by far the flagship instructional organization in the U.S.A., a place where more than 700 instructors hold extensive knowledge.
The University of Zagreb excels not only in terms of teaching but also in educational methods. The University of Zagreb is in the procedure of constructing a brand new Campus “Borongaj”, which is to support the training capacity for more than 20,000 university students. The University of Zagreb campus started on October 12th, 2007 and now, it hosts 4 university faculties as Centre for Croatian Studies, Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Traffic Engineering, and Faculty of Economics and Business.
University of Zagreb's five different colleges will also relocate to the campus in the coming years. Besides the reconstruction, the University of Zagreb campus will be housing a sports center, student hall, and several institutes. Croatian is the official language of the nation. Thus, most study courses will be conducted in Croatian.
